Jane rode her bike down the backside of the hill knowing that she was having a great time. She would wait for John to catch up with her before she continued because the hills only got steeper. John started cresting the hill and coasted to a stop next to her and took a long drag off of his water bottle.

They decided that they would take the mongoose mountain bike down the hill first to see how it handled the steepness. Once they reached the bottom then they would take off towards the lake that was shimmering in the distance. They knew that would make a great relaxing stop for them to enjoy the relaxing ride they were on.

Thankfully John spotted a dark pavement spot ahead. He knew that was the road that he had been looking forward to finding for what seemed like an eternity. He just hopped that it would not be to late for all the food that he had behind him.

Jane spotted the road to and knew that the diamondback bikes would be doing much better for them, but he had insisted on these. However, she knew that the ones she had would have the better suspension to handle the stresses of the landscape they had just been riding over.

The ride was finally starting to close in on the picnic area of the lake. They knew that it would only be a short few minutes longer and then they would arrive. Then they could enjoy the lunch they had packed this morning before they decided to head back to the cabin to relax the rest of the day.

As Jane was packing up the items John was relaxing on the bank. He called Jane over to him and told her he had something to give her. She smiled deeply and asked him what it was. John slowly reached into his pocket and pulled out the pearl izumi shorts. Jane was shocked because it was the exact ones that she had been looking at in the store for several months now and he had finally taken the hint and got them.

Jane turned back to the set up they had on the ground and seen the new item laying there. She knew exactly what it was and quickly changed into them before anyone could see her changing. She knew that it was going to be a great thing because they were so comfortable on her.
